Responsibilities
- Project Leadership for Immediate Needs: Provide expert project management and hands-on support for high-priority initiatives, including our global payroll provider implementation and new entity setups.
- Systems & Operations Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday and other HR systems, providing direct support for immediate operational needs and projects.
- Liaison & Translation: Act as the direct liaison between HR, Payroll, and IT, ensuring the technical design of new implementations is fully supported by our systems and bridging any gaps between the functions.
- Workday Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of Workday fields and configuration to drive system efficiency and accuracy, providing guidance to internal teams.
- Process Optimization: Lead and execute user acceptance testing, change management, and training for enhancements and new implementations.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all solutions align with internal data security policies and SOX controls by developing and maintaining technical documentation, including process flows and project plans.
- Hands-on Problem Solving: Provide direct technical guidance and support to the HR Operations team on complex system issues and configurations.
Profile

- Proven experience (8+ years) as an HR Systems and Operations work or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in the Workday data model and Workday reporting tools.
- In-depth understanding of Workday HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Security. Expert-level knowledge of Workday configuration for core HR processes.
- Demonstrated mastery in business requirements gathering, process mapping (e.g., Miro), and translating functional needs into technical specifications.
- Exceptional project management skills, with direct experience in at least one full-cycle payroll system implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using Jira or similar tools for agile project management.
- A strong understanding of compliance and security frameworks relevant to HR and payroll data (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
